A little while ago, I announced that I was moving my next Grumm Trencher album into 2026 and figured it was a good idea to also announce that my next MEGAFAUNA and VNRL releases were also going to come out in 2026. I didn\u2019t really talk about them so I thought maybe I\u2019d do that now.

You could be reading this a full week earlier on\u00a0Ko-Fi<\/a>, just FYI.<\/p>

I will say, very quickly, that there will be ONE more release here in 2025 - a live MEGAFAUNA album featuring my favourite live tracks from the year. The album is called\u00a0Two Zero Two Five<\/em>\u00a0and you can expect it near the end of December, probably.<\/p>

Ok, now onto the stuff you wanted to know about.

MEGAFAUNA -\u00a0MEGAFAUNA<\/em><\/p>

\"n3klinfo8xsl1zhhckvzinyhnriprxjegg3kyoch7z8rsfav.png.jpg?w=1140&h=auto\"The second album featuring art from the incomparable (and musical collaborator)\u00a0Little Ghost Elli<\/a>\u00a0(AKA\u00a0Homesick Ghosts<\/a>), this will be the obligatory self-titled album. With that in mind, it\u2019s going to be a pretty personal piece, which does feel weird because the previous two albums have also been deeply personal. This one, however, is going to be more about me. As autobiographical as an ambient\/electronic album is capable of being I guess. If I\u2019m going to name it after myself, it might as well be about\u2026me? Maybe? Who knows. That\u2019s the plan anyways.<\/p>

VNRL -\u00a0The Power That, When Wielded, Corrupts<\/em><\/p>

\"74n2grs92zormsqityasrx7hc2mqr3wa8wqam7jfggtdwuuc.png.jpg?w=1140&h=auto\"I don\u2019t imagine that this one will be a surprise to anyone who listened to\u00a0SICK<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>but this next one from VNRL is not going to be a pleasant listen. This project has more or less become a place to put all of the unproductive and worst parts of my self. The impotent anger and the nihilism that I just can\u2019t seem to find anywhere else for. If you follow me on social media, you know I\u2019m fucking angry right now, and many of us are. This will be a reflection of that - and hopefully one that serves as a little bit of catharsis for you as well. Regardless of anything, I\u2019d be prepared for something deeply unpleasant.<\/p>

Grumm Trencher -\u00a0The Bat and the Hellebore<\/em>

\"g5ehxubvcskvn4psdchdrrwskzgbxkge7wxalkxtysbcfxik.png.jpg?w=1140&h=auto\"Finally, on the polar opposite side of the spectrum, the next (and first full length) Grumm Trencher album. This one, the tale of a bat looking for some hellebore before the winter comes - surely nothing bad will happen. It\u2019s my dungeon synth\/cozy synth project and I hope to bring some warm vibes as well as evocative fantasy soundscapes. This will likely be the first out next year, as I do already have a track available and I\u2019m likely going to spend the frigid winter in Northern Canada working on it. In the mean time, enjoy the first track from the album \u201cThe Bat Departs\u201d<\/p>
