MEGAFAUNA is an experimental artist, originally from Port Alberni, now residing in Hazelton, BC. Creating music as a form of therapeutic release, to cope with their own mental illness as well as the bleakness in the world around them. Drawing influences from any and all genres, MEGAFAUNA aims to make music that scratches that one particular itch in the depths of your brain.
They combine experimental and challenging ideas with a surprisingly high energy live performance. They have performed at everything from coffee houses to music festivals, had their music featured in video games, and even live-scored horror classics Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
